Alpha Ireland - Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith, typically run over eleven weeks. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone's welcome. It runs in cafés, churches, universities, homes – you name it. No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: food, a talk and good conversation.
Anointing Fire Catholic Ministry - A Catholic spiritual movement of missionary families, operating catholic church-oriented ministries for different nationalities, focusing on Evangelisation through ministries for Adults, Children, Teens, and Youth.
Cana Ireland - Cana Ireland runs a six day programme (Cana Week), where couples have the opportunity to experience the importance of their marriage, spend time together exploring essential matters such as dialogue, intimacy and commitment, while at the same time being open to God showing them the wonderful gift of each other.
Cana is a worldwide ministry of the Chemin Neuf international Community which developed out of a small prayer group in Lyon in France in 1973. The prayer group was led by a Jesuit priest Fr. Laurent Fabre who still leads the community. Cana is present in over 40 countries offering couples a new and enriched vision of their marriage.
Capuchin Franciscans - As Capuchins, we have always been active in evangelisation through our ministries at home and overseas missions. Today we continue that work with a new lens on the people who have left their faith. We ask ourselves ‘how can we be Christ and bring Christ to these individuals, families, communities?‘ To be true Evangelisers we must be true Disciples of Christ, as the old saying goes,’you cannot give what you don’t have!’
Cast ministries - Cast is a response to the urgent need to inspire, train and mentor young people to become intentional learners and motivated leaders. Our vision is to seize every opportunity to foster hope and nurture life – releasing young people to fulfill their full potential.
Catholic School Retreats - Catholic School Retreats offers a programme of retreat and reflection days to all schools across Ireland to enrich the lives of our young people. Our aim is to honour the development of the whole person: physical, intellectual, emotional, aesthetic, psychological and spiritual.. This societal goal and Catholic principle is served uniquely through retreat and reflection opportunities for the formation of students.
Ceili Community - We are a task orientated community joining ourselves to each other in order to evangelise more effectively. Our community life reflects both the call of Vatican II for priests, religious and lay people (married couples and singles) to minister together and the charism of evangelisation.
Charismatic Renewal - Website of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Ireland.
Charis Ireland - CHARIS is the international Service Of Communion called for by Pope Francis to promote and encourage the grace of baptism in the Spirit in the Catholic Church. CHARIS Ireland is the local arm of this international movement.
Christlife - The ChristLife evangelisation process is a proven method of igniting the new evangelisation by providing a relational context to begin to make missionary disciples at the parish level. ChristLife makes missionary disciples by helping people discover Jesus Christ personally, follow Him in their daily lives as Catholic disciples, and share Him with others. ChristLife is designed to be repeated and become the “core curriculum” for evangelizing and forming adults as missionary disciples. Once a person discovers Jesus, begins to follow Him, and learns to share Him, they want to invite more people on a life-changing adventure with Jesus Christ!
Community Bible Study Ireland - CBS provides a fun, casual environment for personal investigation of the Bible with a small group of friends to learn together what God has to say for us today. Training is provided for group leaders. Several Catholic groups in Ireland have been meeting for over 15 years, have launched new groups, and continue to welcome new people. The leaders of these groups began with no Bible study experience. Visit our site to join an existing group or request training and help to start a new group. An excellent follow-up to Alpha.
Cursillo - Cursillo is a lay Christian movement in which its members try and live their Christianity in the environments they find themselves, and by their witness influence others and act as Christian leaven in the homes, neighbourhoods, and workplaces. The focus is on the person of Jesus and the movement is Catholic.
Emmanuel Community - An International Catholic Lay Community on 5 Continents, in 67 countries and right here in Ireland.
Evangelical Catholic Initiative - an initiative for the New Evangelisation, comprised of Catholic Christians who are evangelical by conviction and committed to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It seeks to promote the kingdom of God, under the guidance and empowering of the Holy Spirit, through working for a Christ-centred, biblically based renewal in the Catholic Church, through fostering reconciliation and unity among Christians and through building up Jewish/Christians relationships.
Evangelisation 2033 - Fr Tom Forrest (1927-2018) was the founder of Evangelization 2000 in 1985 and he set up, together with other co-founding Continental Directors, Evangelization 2000 so that the People of God in the Catholic Church would be trained in Evangelization and Mission. The early initiatives was a huge Priests’ Retreat in Rome in 1990 and the dedication of the decade 1990-2000 which was described as "A Project Promoting a Decade of Evangelization in Anticipation of the Great Jubilee Year."
Faith on Fire - is a new initiative which will work in partnership with Catholic parishes in Ireland, offering a team of catechists to help provide on-fire parish based faith development for adults from one-off to full year options.
Focus - The Fellowship of Catholic University Students is a Catholic collegiate outreach whose mission is to share the hope and joy of the gospel with college and university students, inspiring and equipping them for a lifetime of Christ-centered evangelisation, discipleship and friendships in which they lead others to do the same.
Holy Family Mission - Holy Family Mission is a residential Catholic community for young people aged 18-30 who desire to become effective Disciples of Christ in the world. We accommodate young people from all across Ireland and abroad to lead them to the heart of the Church.
Irish School of Evangelisation - The 'Irish School of Evangelisation' (ISOE) started in 1994. Its mission is to promote and facilitate initiatives of the 'New Evangelisation' in Ireland and abroad.
Jesus Youth - Jesus Youth is an international Catholic youth movement approved by the Pontifical Council of Laity as a private association of lay faithful. It had its beginnings in Kerala (India), but is now active in nearly 35 countries around the world. Jesus Youth is an initiative of young people themselves, who, filled with the Holy Spirit try to reach out to other young people. The strength of the movement is its special focus on a life centered on the Lord Jesus Christ: beginning with an experience of God nourished by prayer, the Word of God, the sacraments and fellowship, and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with others. With a focus on bringing youth to active life in Christ, in Church, Jesus Youth reaches out to youth, bringing them to an intimacy with Christ by providing them faith and personal formation.
Living Water Prayer group - Living Water is a young adult Charismatic Catholic Prayer Group with an open invitation for you to come and visit! Every evening starts with a welcome and live music where we praise and worship the Lord together.
Nazareth Community - The mission of the Community of Nazareth may be best summed up as a Christian community whose members are open to the action of the Holy Spirit through the charismatic gifts and who are committed to loving and serving Jesus Christ, one another and those around them. The life of community members has four main aspects: life with God; life with one another; life of witness/evangelisation, and life of service in society.
Net Ministries - NET stands for National Evangelisation Teams. We are missionaries who share Jesus' gospel message with young people. Every year, we recruit and train young adults to evangelise to over 20,000 youth in churches, schools, and parishes across Ireland.
New Evangelisation Trust - The New Evangelisation Trust is a zero running costs charity, sponsored by a small group of supporters, which provides a free service of matching donors with Evangelisation Causes in Ireland.
Parish Cell system of Evangelisation - In the early 1980s Fr. Michael Eivers, a native of Cullyfad, Longford initiated the parish cells in his parish in Florida, USA in an effort to revitalise his parish which was in decline. Such was his success that don PiGi Perini, parish priest of Sant’Eustorgio, Milan, Italy, heard of it and in 1987 went to Florida to experience the cells in operation. On his return to Milan he introduced them in his parish. In 1990, Fr. Michael Hurley, similarly inspired, went to Milan to investigate this new method of Evangelization with four parishioners from Ballinteer. This was the beginning of cells in Ireland. There are now over 85 cells in Ireland stretching from Ballymena to Cork and Dublin to Galway. Today, there are thousands of cells present in the five continents.
Paving the way home - is a Catholic online apostolate based in Ireland to support the official teachings of the Catholic Church through contemporary forms of media. The idea came about to bring clarity and truth to what the Catholic Church teaches instead of the confusion and misinterpretation that people often associate with it.
Pure In Heart - Pure in Heart was founded in the 1990’s, when a small group of young people responded to Our Lady’s invitation to prayer. ‘Purity amongst the youth’, a reoccurring prayer intention caught the attention of their spiritual director, Fr. Aidan Carroll. In the year 2000, while in Rome for World Youth Day, the group decided they would become proactive and reach out to young people!
Star of the Sea Retreat Centre - Star of the Sea Centre under the patronage and protection of Our Lady, welcomes people into the safe refuge and harbour of Jesus, offering an opportunity for people to come away from the busyness of life and open their hearts to an encounter with the Lord, receive healing and blessing and hopefully leave renewed and enriched as they continue on their journey through life.
Teams of Our Lady - Equipes Notre Dame was founded in France in the 1950s to strengthen the sacrament of marriage for its members, using the methods handed down by our founder, Fr Henri Caffarel. It has been operating in Ireland for over 50 years. Our Movement is very much in line with the methods and approach recommended by Pope Francis in Amoris Laetitia (AL)[1] where he states that ’we cannot encourage a path of fidelity and mutual self- giving (in marriage and the family) without encouraging the growth, strengthening and deepening of conjugal and family love’

New Springtime Community - New Springtime is a community who actively respond to the great commission of Jesus and the Catholic Church’s call for a New Evangelisation. We do this through gatherings, teachings, prayer, worship and courses. We will, with the help of the Holy Spirit, engage in evangelisation ourselves, as well as teaching, training and equipping others who also desire to evangelise those who have not yet developed an intimate personal relations with Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

The Twelve - ‘The 12 is a group of God’s people drawn together by God’s grace, and the Holy Spirit, and called more deeply through prayer and commitment to go out and evangelise, ‘ to know and love Jesus more, to make Him better known and loved’. ‘The 12’ is made up of people from different walks of life, cultures and faith experiences, members of the laity and clergy, who are inspired by God’s love, mercy, forgiveness and healing.
Youth 2000 - Youth 2000 is a Catholic youth organisation that organises lively faith festivals, retreats, prayer groups and other events for young people aged 16-35 across the island of Ireland.
Youth Initiatives - Youth Initiatives aims to awaken hope, inspire initiative, and mobilise youth to make a vital contribution to their community and to a shared future in Northern Ireland.
